There are 3 levels of events under the APTSA new touring initatives. This page will provide the information and material you need in order to host one of these events.
Artistic Pool Shootout (APS) The first event type is an Artistic Pool Shootout (APS). APS events consist of 8 high-make percentage shots, selected from the Master Challenge Program. There are currently four different shot programs available for an APS event, each containing a different selection of shots from the disciplines of Trick & Fancy, Prop/Novelty/Special Arts, Draw, Follow, Stroke and Bank/Kick. The complete APS Documentation, including procedures for having your event confirmed by the APTSA and Membership Application for your participants is included in the APS Document pack, available for download here.
Artistic Pool Room Cup (APRC)
The second event type is an Artistic Pool Room Cup (APRC). APRC events consist of 16 high-make percentage shots, selected from the Master Challenge Program. There are currently two different shot programs available for an APRC event, each containing a different selection of shots from the disciplines of Trick & Fancy, Prop/Novelty/Special Arts, Draw, Follow, Stroke and Bank/Kick. Artistic Pool Major (APM)
The final event type is an Artistic Pool Major (APM). APM events utilize the entire shot program, including the disciplines of Jump and Masse. If you are interested in more information regarding Major-level events, please contact the APTSA.
